For some people, just figuring out how to be happy is tough enough.. but figuring out how to stay that way can be even tougher! Especially with all the craziness that life throws our way.

On this page I'm going to give you tips that will help you to maintain a level of happiness, but here's something that I want you to really understand:

Even the happiest people aren't happy all of the time. We all have our ups and downs and life is a tricky little journey. Even those with the best and most positive attitudes sometimes slip over to the dark side. BUT...

The goal is to notice when you're loosing your "happiness" and do something about it. If you feel that you have a right to be miserable and complain about the things going on in your life, then allow yourself about five minutes of that and then move on. Because it's much healthier, more productive, and a lot more fun to be happy.

Here are some tips on how to stay happy:


Manage your stress!

When you experience high levels of stress (especially for long periods of time) it becomes very difficult to maintain a positive attitude. Your energy levels will decrease and your desire to participate in activities you enjoy will lessen... this definitely puts your happiness at risk.


Enjoy Life

We're all busy these days and it often seems that there's very little time to do things we enjoy, but this should be an absolute necessity... not an option. Even taking a quick five minutes to participate in a spontaneous snowball fight can have a big impact on your ability to be happy and maintain it.


Make Room for Your Hopes and Dreams

If ever you stop feeling like there is something worth hoping for... or reason to hope, not only is your happiness at risk, it's most likely already gone. Feed your soul by allowing yourself to pursue some of the things in life that you're passionate about. Hobbies are a great way to do this... just pick something you feel very deeply about.


If you pay attention to these three tips and make a real effort to maintain a positive attitude and outlook on life no matter what your situation you'll be well on your way to finding and keeping your happiness.
