In addition, the hormones that are released when we're stressed will initially help to dull pain, over time they begin to increase pain sensations.
Back pain is a common symptom of stress.
We hold a lot of our stress tension in our back, neck, and shoulders and if not relieved, it can cause significant pain and tenderness.
For those who already have pain in their backs due to other conditions, stress can increase the pain sensation.
