April 07, 2009
Thank You for Sharing Your Lives with Us
April 2009 - Issue #004: How to Choose Fun over Stress
If you've visited OurStressfulLives.com in the past week, you may have noticed something different. There's a new look with all the same great content. However, much of the content has been rearranged and you may not find a page where it used to be... but by moving some of the pages around, hopefully they're now all in a place that makes the most sense. I hope you enjoy the new look and the new layout.

Feature Story!I asked for Tips & Stories for Stressed Out Parents and Annie Desantis from Australia answered the call. Her submission is this month's Feature Story...
Choose Fun over Stress!by Annie Desantis
There is no doubt about it, Parenting is a pretty major job. And when parents are working, managing a household, and maybe coping with financial pressures, kids sometimes can be incredibly demanding...
I want to thank Annie for sharing with us!
Don't forget to submit your own stories and tips today to have the chance for your story to be featured next month!
The results are in...In last month's newsletter, I asked you to tell me How the Economy was Affecting Your Stress.
A BIG Thank You to everyone who participated, the response was great, and here are the results...
We asked: Have you been affected by layoffs or job loss due to the economy?
For those who are working, we asked them to check all that apply:
We asked: Have you (either voluntarily or involuntarily) been cutting back on spending:
We asked: Have you lost your home?
And finally we asked: How do you feel that the state of the economy has affected your stress level?
The results of this poll were very interesting and I hope you all enjoyed participating... thanks again!
